What is a visiting card?

A visiting card (or business card) is a small printed card with your name, what you do and how to reach you. Shopkeepers, freelancers, sales people and professionals hand them out so customers can call or message them later.

The standard size in India is 3.5 × 2 inches or 85 × 55 mm. This maker prints 10 cards on one A4 sheet, with cut lines, so you can print at home or at any print shop.

Visiting card format

A visiting card shows your name prominently, your title, your business name, one or two phone numbers, your email, your website or UPI ID, and your address. Keep it to the essentials: too many details make a card hard to read.

For a professional finish, print on 300 gsm card stock and cut along the lines with a paper cutter.

Rules that apply

Share only what you want public

A visiting card is meant to be handed out. Don't print personal IDs like Aadhaar or PAN on it; share them only when needed and with consent under data protection law.
