A GST invoice, or tax invoice, is the bill a GST-registered business issues when it sells goods or services. It records the tax charged so the buyer can claim input tax credit and the seller can report the sale in GST returns.
A tax invoice shows your name, address and GSTIN; a unique invoice number of up to 16 characters; the date; the customer's name, address and GSTIN if registered; the place of supply; each item's description, HSN or SAC code, quantity, rate and taxable value; the GST rate and amount; and your signature.
Charge CGST and SGST when the place of supply is in your own state and IGST when it's in another state. This generator works the split out from the states you choose.
