Good to know

What's the difference between an offer letter and an appointment letter?

An offer letter offers the job and key terms; the appointment letter, issued on joining, confirms employment in detail.

What should an offer letter include?

Role, location, joining date, CTC, probation, notice period, conditions such as document checks, and an acceptance line.

Is an offer letter legally binding?

Once accepted, it can create obligations for both sides, so keep the terms accurate and clear.

Should the salary break-up be in the offer letter?

It can be attached, but many companies state the CTC and share the break-up with the appointment letter.

Is candidate data stored?

No. The letter is made in your browser and its details never leave your device.
