Create a free proforma invoice with GST, a validity date and payment terms, and download it as a PDF.
Name, address, state and GSTIN if you have one.
Items with HSN, quantity, rate and GST rate; set how long the offer is valid.
Send the PDF to your customer to confirm the order or arrange advance payment.
A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill sent before a sale. It confirms the items, prices, taxes and terms so the buyer can approve the order, arrange an advance payment, or support an import or loan application.
It isn't a tax invoice: no GST is due on it, and the buyer can't claim input tax credit against it.
It looks like an invoice — your details, the customer's, items with HSN, quantity, rate and GST, and the total — marked clearly as a proforma invoice, with a validity date and payment terms.
No GST is due on a proforma invoice. GST becomes payable on supply, when you issue the tax invoice.
