A quotation is a price offer you send a customer before they order. It lists what you'll supply, at what price and tax, and how long the offer holds. Once accepted, it becomes the basis of the order.
Include your business details, the customer's name, a quotation number and date, each item with quantity, rate and GST, the total, a validity date, and terms such as delivery time and payment conditions.
If you're GST-registered, the final tax invoice must show HSN/SAC, the tax rate and the CGST + SGST or IGST split, so quote the same.
