Good to know

When is a relieving letter given?

On or after the last working day, once the resignation is accepted and handover is done.

Why do new employers ask for a relieving letter?

It shows you left your previous job properly and aren't bound to it, which matters for background checks.

What if full and final settlement is still pending?

Leave the box unticked; the letter then says settlement will be processed as per company policy.

Is a relieving letter the same as an experience letter?

No. The relieving letter confirms release from duties; the experience letter describes the tenure and role.

Is employee data stored?

No. The letter is made in your browser and its details never leave your device.
